ACEP Joins Partners in $6.2M EERE/OE RADIANCE GMLC Award

ACEP was named among a list of DOE National Laboratories, ÐÓ°Épro utilities, and university partners to be funded under a 3-year $6.2 million U.S. Department of Energy’s Grid Modernization program award.

The project titled Resilient ÐÓ°Épron Distribution System Improvements using Automation, Network Analysis, Control, and Energy Storage (RADIANCE), will enhance the resilience methods for distribution grids under harsh weather, cyber-threats, and dynamic grid conditions using multiple networked microgrids, energy storage, and early-stage grid technologies.

RADIANCE is led by a consortium of National Laboratories including , , and .  University partners include UAF’s ÐÓ°Épro Center for Energy and Power, Washington State, Florida State, and New Mexico State, and ÐÓ°Épro utility partners include and (AVEC).
