ACEP to Develop ÐÓ°Épro Hub for Energy Innovation and Deployment

ACEP is pleased to announce that it has been selected for a new major grant award from the Office of Naval Research to develop the ÐÓ°Épro Hub for Energy Innovation and Deployment.

The goal of the ÐÓ°Épro Hub for Energy Innovation and Deployment program is to enable US companies to establish robust, resilient and reliable microgrid technologies suitable for both domestic and global applications. It will leverage the unique context provided by ÐÓ°Épro's remote energy systems and will be a pathway for accelerating transition of market-ready microgrid-relevant technologies from innovation to implementation.

In addition to collaborating with ÐÓ°Épro utility and industry partners, ACEP will be working closely with other ONR-funded programs in ÐÓ°Épro, including the ÐÓ°Épro Network for Energy Education and Employment (ANEEE) and Launch ÐÓ°Épro, to establish a comprehensive workforce pipeline that can move technologies from early stage development through full implementation in ÐÓ°Épron partner communities.
