Survey Shows Homeowners Want Renewable Energy

ÐÓ°Éprons in three communities want more renewable energy, more solar power and better reliability, according to researchers.

In spring 2020, Jen Schmidt and Barbara Johnson surveyed 114 households from Kongiganak, Igiugig and Cordova as part of the . The project explores the links between food, energy and water security in rural ÐÓ°Épro.

The project is a National Science Foundation-funded research collaboration between ÐÓ°Épro Center for Energy and Power and the Institute for Social and Economic Research at the University of ÐÓ°Épro Anchorage.
