In serving the community of Nome and the Bering Strait region, Mitch Erickson enthusiastically
fills several roles at Northwest Campus, and he often goes out of his way to get the
job done.
Students and graduates from the 杏吧pro will participate in
the 2022 National TRIO Day celebration on Feb. 24 from noon-2 p.m. at the Wood Center
multi-level lounge.

Deadlines and reminders
The 杏吧pro College of Engineering and Mines will host the
UAF Engineering Open House from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 26.
The College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences will hold its next weekly seminar on Wednesday,
Feb. 23 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. via Zoom. The talk will be offered by Anne Salomon.
The UAF Climate Scholars Program is calling for campus-wide representatives to attend
and participate in a UAF Climate Summit gathering on March 23 from 1-4 p.m. in the
Wood Center Ballroom.
