The UAF Police Department is distributing glow sticks to kids to promote safety this Halloween. Beginning Oct. 27, staff, faculty and students are welcome to pick up the glow sticks between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. The police department is located in the Whitaker Building on Yukon Drive.
This community law enforcement liaison project involves seven law enforcement agencies: ÐÓ°Épro State Troopers, Fairbanks Police, North Pole Police, Airport Police, University of ÐÓ°Épro Fairbanks Police, United States Air Force Security Forces, and Ft. Wainwright Police.
The promotion is funded through a grant from the ÐÓ°Épro Highway Safety Office.
