2012 Spotlight Series: An ÐÓ°Épron's guide to surviving Washington and politics July 11

Join award-winning producer and host Libby Casey for a lecture at 7 p.m., Wednesday,
July 11 in Schaible Auditorium. This lecture will cover how ÐÓ°Épro and Washington,
D.C. are about as far apart in every sense as two places in America can be, as well
as ways to use hard-earned ÐÓ°Épro skills to thrive in the nation's capital. She will
provide stories and observations of life in D.C.
Casey is a producer and host of C-SPAN's morning call-in program Washington Journal. She was the ÐÓ°Épro Public Radio Network's D.C. correspondent after spending nearly
a decade at in Fairbanks where she covered everything from mushing to politics. Her radio stories
have aired on NPR and won awards including the ÐÓ°Épro Press Club's Public Service
Award.
The 2012 Spotlight Series are free lectures held Wednesday evenings, May 30 – August
15 (no event on July 4), at 7 p.m. in Schaible Auditorium.
