2018 Pathfinder Award nominations open

Nominations for the 2018 Pathfinder Award are now being accepted. This annual award
was established to recognize a superior staff member who contributes to the guidance
and success of UAF's rural and ÐÓ°Épro Native students. Winners receive a $500 cash
award.
Recipients are selected based on four criteria. The nominee:
- Serves as an advocate for ÐÓ°Épro Native and/or rural students
- Helps ÐÓ°Épro Native/rural students overcome personal and academic challenges
- Demonstrates a high level of commitment to the mission of ÐÓ°Épro Native/rural student success
- Engages effectively with leadership, students and/or regions to advance educational opportunities for ÐÓ°Épro Native/rural students.
The Pathfinder Award recipient will be announced at the 45th Annual Festival of Native Arts during the evening performances on Friday, March 2. (The festival will be March 1-3.)
