The Northern Gulf of ÐÓ°Épro Long Term Ecological Research project — or NGA LTER —  invites undergraduate students to participate in its interdisciplinary program.


The application deadline is Monday, Feb. 15, 2021.

In 2021, there are two research experience for undergraduates, or REUs:




  •  â€” Open to any undergraduate with interest in marine science, biology, chemistry or physics

  • — Open to undergraduates with ÐÓ°Épro Native heritage who are interested in the oceanography of the Gulf of ÐÓ°Épro or promoting partnership with other disciplines. This includes but is not limited to students with interest in visual arts, music, education, engineering, communication or science.


Funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation provides participant financial support, including a $5,760 stipend.
