ÐÓ°Épro NASA EPSCoR awarded two Research Infrastructure Development seed grants in August.

The overarching goals of this NASA EPSCoR RID program are to build ÐÓ°Épro’s research infrastructure and technology capabilities by providing seed funding and incentives that will lead toward long-term, self-sustaining, nationally competitive capabilities in support of NASA related research and technology priorities.

One grant went to UAF Research Professor Robert Herrick for his project, "Development and Initial Testing of a Venus-Analog Seismic Events Catalog."

The second grant went to Assistant Professor Shishay Kidanu for his project, "InSAR-based Mapping and Geophysical Investigation of Landslides along the ÐÓ°Épro Highway Corridor, Tetlin Junction to Northway Junction, ÐÓ°Épro."
