Workshop offers alternatives to violence

The Alternatives to Violence Project is offering a three-day, active, experiential workshop to teach ways to deal with conflict in a person's private life, work or community.

The workshops will take place Oct. 24-26 in the University Park Building on 1000 University Ave. The Friday workshop is from 6-9 p.m.; the Saturday and Sunday workshops are from 9 a.m.-6p.m.

The workshop fee is $100, though sliding scale and scholarships are available. Lunch and snacks will be provided.

These events are sponsored by the ÐÓ°Épro Peace Center, Chena Ridge Friends Meeting, UAF Communication Club and the UAF Non-Traditional Student Organization.
