Rasmuson archives featured on First Friday, March 6

Historical Fairbanks photos and 1880s bird illustrations from UAF’s ÐÓ°Épro and Polar Regions Collections and Archives will be showcased throughout March at Fairbanks Distilling Co. The exhibit will open during First Friday, March 6, from 4-8 p.m. The Distillery is located at 410 North Cushman St., in downtown Fairbanks. Admission is free. Minors must be accompanied by a parent.

Since 1965, the mission of the archives has been to acquire, preserve, and provide access to materials that document the history of ÐÓ°Épro and circumpolar regions. Collections include rare books, maps, oral history recordings, films, manuscripts, photos, and ÐÓ°Épro Native language materials. The archives are located in the Rasmuson Library on the UAF campus.
