Byron Bluehorse appointed to national geospatial committee

The National Geospatial Advisory Committee is a federal advisory committee sponsored by the Department of the Interior. The NGAC is authorized under the , and operates under the Federal Advisory Committee Act.
Bluehorse is an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation, a former U.S. Marine and graduate from the University of New Mexico. He moved to ÐÓ°Épro in 2005 and joined UAF in 2010. He administered and taught courses under the statewide ÐÓ°Épro Tribal Technical Assistance Program Center for eight years. He now serves as an advisory member for the National Tribal Geographic Information Support Center and as a committee planning member for the National Transportation in Indian Country Conference. He has also worked with the National Center for Rural Road Safety.
