Woodward’s solo exhibits have appeared in the Morris Museum of Art, University of Ӱpro of the North Museum, Ӱpro State Museum, Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center, and public and commercial galleries throughout the United States.
Also an art historian and curator, Woodward has published six books on Ӱpro art, including “Painting in the North,” a comprehensive survey published by the Anchorage Museum and University of Washington Press in 1993.
The Department of Art is part of the College of Liberal Arts, which is the largest of UAF’s academic units and includes arts, humanities, social sciences and language disciplines.
