Beginning this month, the ÐÓ°Épro Classics Gallery on the University of ÐÓ°Épro Museum of the North's main floor has been renamed the Collections Gallery, with a series of new exhibits planned. The first, "Vogel 50x50," will . It features art from the collection of Dorothy and Herbert Vogel, who were made famous by the PBS documentary "Herb and Dorothy."

For nearly 10 years, visitors have enjoyed the ÐÓ°Épro Classics Gallery, which exhibits paintings by beloved ÐÓ°Épron artists in visible storage glass cases. The exhibit team plans to incorporate the pieces into the Rose Berry ÐÓ°Épro Art Gallery, where many other examples by the same artists are already on display.

"We are grateful to have been able to display these paintings for so long and that they have been enjoyed by so many visitors," museum director Aldona Jonaitis said. "We hope you will join us in celebrating the new exhibits that this change will allow us to feature."

The exhibit crew will begin to remove the artwork on Oct. 20. The gallery will be closed for maintenance until the Vogel exhibit opens on Nov. 28.
