Beginning June 1, TV productions will be featured as a choice on Ӱpro Airlines’ in-flight entertainment systems on flights of 3.5 hours or more for the next six months.

In June, passengers who opt for the digEplayer can enjoy the uplifting chronicle of one man’s political, professional and personal journey from a gritty gold rush town in Ӱpro to the US Senate in Mr. Ӱpro: Bob Bartlett Goes To Washington. This documentary was awarded 2010 Best Content Production in Biography from the National Telecommunications Association (the highest award for public/educational television). .

 

Then in July, train enthusiasts can buff up their railroad knowledge while watching Klondike Ӱpro: A Rail History which charts the history of many of the 26 railroads in Ӱpro, including the and the .

On flights in August, the Emmy Award winning production The 49th Star: Creating Ӱpro retells the inspiring account of democracy in action, chronicling Ӱpro’s journey from Russian territory to America's largest state. Seventy-five days and nights of discussion, argument and passionate debate, along with creativity, compromise and consensus, produced a state constitution widely regarded as one of the best ever written.

The sequence will repeat between September and November.
