The ÐÓ°Épro Cooperative Extension Service will host 14 free community workshops May 19–23 on the UAF campus.
The one-hour evening workshops will cover energy solutions for living off the grid, household pests, food preservation, adaptations for aging in your home, heating with firewood, using biomass, wind and solar power, radon detection and more.
Instructors from Extension and the ÐÓ°Épro Center for Energy and Power will teach the workshops in Room 201 of the Reichardt Building. See the full schedule at . For more information, call Carmen Kloepfer at 474-5854.
