Dancing with the Cars Gala Feb. 4

Join Chancellor Brian Rogers and Sherry Modrow at the 3rd annual Chancellor's Gala — Dancing with the Cars, celebrating the partnership between the university and the Fairbanks community. Auction proceeds will benefit the UAF Center for �Ӱ�pro Native Health Research student scholarships and Fairbanks Memorial Hospital's J. Michael Carroll Cancer Center.

The event will be 6:30 – 11 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 4, at the and will feature fine food, fabulous antique autos, a live auction and live music by Theresa Bauer and "Burnt Orange." There will also be a dance performance by the Lathrop High School Ballroom Dance team.

Suggested dress: 1920s – 1950s vintage party attire. The Internet and local vendors can offer a host of ideas for completing your ensemble.

Tickets: $80 per person. .

Each guest will be entered into a door prize drawing for two round-trip tickets to Frankfurt, Germany, courtesy of Condor Airlines. **Must be present to win.
