Engineering facility ribbon-cutting Dec. 8

A ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration for the Engineering Learning and Innovation Facility will take place from 4-6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8.

UAF Chancellor Daniel M. White, UA President Jim Johnsen and College of Engineering and Mines Dean Doug Goering will join supporters BP, ConocoPhillips �Ӱ�pro and Usibelli Coal Mine, along with design and construction contractors, at the event.

The program will begin in the high bay promptly at 4 p.m. Self-guided building tours and a reception will follow.

The high bay lab floor is uneven; please wear closed-toe, comfortable footwear with a low heel.
