Museum launches discovery series

The University of ÐÓ°Épro Museum of the North will launch a new series of free public presentations this month.
The Museum Discovery Series will feature a different curator each month unveiling new discoveries based on research in the museum’s collections. The presentations will be held in the museum auditorium on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m.
This year’s series includes the following presentations:
- Jan. 22, “Unveiling ÐÓ°Épro Dinosaurs: Discoveries and Insights into Ancient Life in the Arctic,†by Pat Druckenmiller.
- Feb. 5, “ÐÓ°Épro’s Marmots: Known Knowns and Unknown Knowns,†by Link Olson.
- March 12, “ÐÓ°Épro’s Butterflies, Beetles and Bees: Documenting the Biodiversity of the North,†by Derek Sikes.
- April 23, “Climate Change and Human Land Use in Ice Age ÐÓ°Épro,†by Ben Potter and Josh Reuther.
