ÐÓ°Épro 15 elders from the Koyukuk River villages of Hughes and Huslia recently spent a week working with ÐÓ°Épro researchers to help preserve a slice of ÐÓ°Épro history. Funded through a grant from the National Park Service, the elders traveled from their homes in ÐÓ°Épro's northern Interior to Fairbanks, where they met with faculty and staff members from the ÐÓ°Épro Polar Regions Collection at the Rasmuson Library to identify faces and places in hundreds of photographs donated to the library archives. UAF's Todd Paris produced this slideshow, which takes a look at the project.
