Pesticide training scheduled in Anchorage

A training for certified pesticide applicators will be offered March 10 at the University
of ÐÓ°Épro Anchorage.
The ÐÓ°Épro Certified Pesticide Applicator Workshop will run from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
at Gorsuch Commons, 3700 Sharon Gagnon Lane. The ÐÓ°Épro Cooperative
Extension Service will host the annual training with the ÐÓ°Épro Department of Environmental
Conservation.
Participants receive continuing education units from DEC. Company representatives
and Extension educators will present information on rodent and insect control, tree
and shrub care, integrated pest management and innovations in pest control.
The deadline to register is March 9. A $75 registration fee includes lunch. More details
