Harrington joins Institute of Arctic Biology

Phillip Harrington is the new executive officer for the . Harrington has worked at UAF for 20 years, most recently as the director of UAF finance and accounting.

After graduating from UAF with a bachelor's degree in business administration, Harrington worked as a budget analyst for UA Statewide from 1991 to 1997. After a brief stint as a budget coordinator, he became the executive officer for the , which in 2005 became the . In 2008, he left CEM to take a position as the assistant director for and subsequently became the director of UAF finance and accounting.
