Rural Nutrition Services Program students display projects May 9

students will display and describe their community-based projects from 2 - 4 p.m., May 9, in the Harper Building. The projects were developed by students to provide community-based nutrition and health outreach to fit their local culture.
RNS is a culturally relevant multidisciplinary course of study that combines nutrition science, ÐÓ°Épro Native knowledge, behavioral health and outreach skills. Courses are taught by teaching teams that include licensed professionals, ÐÓ°Épro Native service providers, ÐÓ°Épro Native elders and guest speakers in a blended delivery style allowing students to learn, earn university credits, and not have to move from their home community.
