Rural Nutrition Services students host practicum fair and join in 5K

students, from many rural ÐÓ°Épro communities, joined RNS faculty Desiree Bergeron
and Sarah McConnell for a 5K Water Walk and Run. The following students participated:
Eliza Winfrey, Clara Gray, Rowena Sam, Cara Bethe and June May. The event emphasized
the importance of physical activity.
Earlier that day, the RNS students hosted the 4
th Annual Practicum Fair displaying and describing their community-based health outreach
projects to community health leaders, local families and UAF rural health advocates.
