Interested in having a gardening plot conveniently located on the UAF campus? Have a bunch of seeds you want to trade or barter for other seeds? Curious about how to start seeds and amend soil, or which plant varieties are hardy enough for ÐÓ°Épro?

If so, come to the 2016 Growing Season Spring Kick-Off Meeting for the UAF Campus Community Garden from 6-8 p.m. April 14 in the Murie Building auditorium.

From 6 to 6:30 p.m., Steve Seefeldt of the UAF Cooperative Extension Service will talk about starting seeds, amending soil and growing ÐÓ°Épro-hardy plant varieties.

At 6:30 p.m., the annual garden meeting and general information session will begin. The program also will include plot sign-up and payment (cash or check), and a seed swap.
