Simmons receives Volunteer of the Year Award

Teisha Simmons, director of the , was one of six recipients of the First Lady Volunteer of the Year Awards. First Lady Sandy Parnell announced the recipients April 2. The recipients were chosen by an executive committee of ÐÓ°Épro community members.

The First Lady’s Volunteer of the Year Awards are awarded to those who engage in volunteer activities within ÐÓ°Épro, show remarkable personal commitment to long-term volunteer service, or have made a substantial impact on their community or the state.
