Tsunami Bowl scheduled for February

The 14th annual National Ocean Sciences Bowl ÐÓ°Épro regional competition, known as the , is scheduled to take place in Seward Feb. 4-6, 2011. The Tsunami Bowl is a competition for ÐÓ°Épro high school students on topics related to the study of the oceans. This year, fifteen high schools, representing towns and villages from across ÐÓ°Épro, will travel to Seward to compete in the Bowl. The Tsunami Bowl is hosted by the Seward Marine Center, which is part of the UAF School of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences.
