The Clery Act requires universities to alert the campus community to certain crimes in a manner that is timely and will aid in the prevention of similar crimes. We will issue timely warnings whenever a crime defined by the Clery Act is reported to have occurred on or may impact our campus community. A timely warning will typically be communicated by email; however, in certain circumstances, the community may receive a text message, Rave notice, phone call or a combination of multiple communication methods to ensure you can take necessary steps to stay safe.

Each timely warning will also have a safety tip to help you stay safe. You can find more information about timely warnings, the Clery Act and campus safety statistics in UAF's .
