UAF art alumna wins airline design contest

UAF alumna Hannah Foss won the grand prize in a Kung Fu Panda-themed design contest created by China-based Hainan Airlines.

Her design will be painted on the company's Boeing 787 Dreamliner. It is now featured on the Hainan Airlines  and on the company's Facebook .

"Kung Fu Panda" is a computer-animated film produced in 2008 by DreamWorks.

Foss graduated from UAF in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in computer art. She works as a digital artist and computer-generated imagery animator at the UAF Geophysical Institute.
