UAF received four Aurora Awards from the Public Relations Society of America ÐÓ°Épro chapter. The Aurora Awards recognize the best public relations campaigns and tactics that have taken place over the last year.

University Relations worked with units throughout UAF on the award-winning projects.

Public relations planning around UAF's and   won first place for integrated communications and was a finalist for the Grand Aurora Award given to the top campaign in ÐÓ°Épro.

UAF's took a third place award in the category of special electronic and printed promotional materials, and won third place for events seven days or less.
