Weather Service to celebrate centennial at UAF

The ÐÓ°Épro and the National Weather Service will mark the 100th anniversary of weather observation at the Fairbanks Experiment Farm Thursday, June 30 at 1 p.m. with a ceremony at the farm.
Representatives from the weather service and UAF will be on hand for brief remarks. The farm is the oldest continuous weather observation site in ÐÓ°Épro. Observations began there on July 1, 1911.
