On Thursday, December 18, 2025, University of ÐÓ°Épro will continue roll-out of changes intended to improve the security of our multi-factor authentication security. In response to increased threats to UA login credentials and university services, UA will be requiring Duo Verified Push for all Duo Mobile app users and will also be removing the Duo Phone Call option.

UA Gmail users may have noticed a new icon recently appear to the side of their inbox: the KnowBe4 Phish Alert button looks like an orange fishing hook, and can be used to quickly mark suspicious emails as phishing attempts.

As of June 30th, 2025, SMS (text messages) will be removed as an authentication option within Duo MFA to improve account security.
